
David Lloyd CEO - Director/Trustee
David was a Founder Member and initially Business Manager, then Operations Director/Company Secretary for ECO-Logic (UK) the fastest growing digital electronic water control company in Europe. He was responsible for the day-to-day control of all business matters including Admin & Finance, Production Distribution and Sales & Marketing. David ‘retired’ from the company on 31 March 2010. David currently runs his own Business Advisory & Consultancy Service and was a Mentor to The Prince’s Trust Business Enterprise Programme. He has over 50 year’s business management experience.
He has been involved in cricket all his life, playing with a cricket ball in his cot before he could even walk. David, who grew up around cricket, his father being captain of his works cricket team, was a member of the Kings Norton Grammar School Under 15’s team that reached the Docker Shield semi-final in 1963 and went on to play for the school’s Old Boys team upon leaving school in 1964.
Predominately a right-arm pace bowler, David was also to become a dogged lower order batsman. Unfortunately he had to retire from cricket, aged 28 due to a serious knee injury. His best bowling performance was 6-17 (first six batsmen all bowled) against Old Moselians in 1967.
David has been a member of Warwickshire County Cricket Club since 1989, having seen his first match on the ground in 1952, aged 4½ and has been on four overseas cricket tours to watch England (3 in Barbados and recently in Melbourne & Sydney, Australia). He brings a wealth of practical experience to the Trust both in business and cricketing terms.

PETER HORNSBY - Director/Trustee
Peter born in Marston Green has been a longstanding member of St. Leonard’s his local church since the early 1960’s and apart from assisting the congregation as a Server he has also been a Member of the Church Choir.
He is a vintage transport afficionado notably buses and steam trains travelling all over the country. In his leisure time in addition to Cricket Peter is a Volunteer Bus Conductor and a regular visitor to Wythall and Aldridge Transport Museums.
Peter has been a Warwickshire County Cricket Club Member since the early 1980’s and was fortunate enough to see Brian Lara score his record 501 not out against Durham in 1994 at Edgbaston.
In his youth Peter played for his local church cricket team and occasionally Marston Green CC as a Spinning All-Rounder. As a lower order batsman, he recorded a highest score of 56.
Peter is a retired Birmingham City Council Care Home Provider having worked in that role for over 20 years. Currently he is engaged in Market Research/Consumer Survey work for various high-profile companies throughout the UK.
He joined the Trust as a Director/Trustee in November 2018 and brings a wealth of
practical knowledge and experience in all things Business and Cricket

CARL JORDAN - Director/Trustee
During his working career he was in Purchasing for over 40 years and worked at his last company for over 30 years during which he travelled quite extensively.
Carl Jordan has been a Member of Warwickshire County Club for 35 years and for the last 4 years since retirement has helped the Curator in the Museum at Edgbaston for 2 days during the Winter and at lunchtime in the Summer. He has also helped out during Test Matches, T20 Games and the 100.
He has seen cricket in Australia at both Sydney and Perth Cricket Grounds. He was also fortunate to meet Garfield Sobers during a visit to his hotel whilst on holiday in Barbados which was a great experience in itself meeting up with a Cricketing Legend.
Over the last 3 years Carl has been Programme Secretary for Stourbridge Cricket Society where he arranges for Speakers to visit the Society. Speakers have included Barry Richards, Mark Ramprakash, John Emburey and Paul Farbrace.
Carl also follows Alvechurch Football Club and helps to arrange the Annual Luncheon in May each year. In 2023 both Graham Gooch and Dean Saunders were in attendance whilst last year (2024) Geoff Miller, Ossie Ardiles and Graham Roberts were the primary guests. He also helps at the turnstiles before matches with admissions and the selling of programmes.

Suk Aulak, FCCA, ACA - Honorary Treasurer
Suk is a Partner at BDO based in Birmingham City Centre. He is an experienced Business Advisor with an in-depth knowledge of owner managed businesses across a wide range of industries including manufacturing engineering and related sectors. He has also worked with investment businesses and has a wealth of experience in working with UK subsidiaries of overseas companies. As a Business Advisor he has assisted numerous businesses with acquisition & restructuring projects. He was born in Wolverhampton and went to Halllfield School in Birmingham before attending Harrow School from 1982 to 1987. This was followed by a Foundation in Accountancy qualification at Birmingham Polytechnic. Suk qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1995 and
a Charted Accountant in 2008. He is a highly respected member of the Birmingham accounting fraternity.
Suk played cricket and rugby at school at various levels and also played cricket at a social level and captained the fathers’ cricket team at his son’s school. He was a more than capable wicket-keeper and an accumulator of runs with the bat. Having kept wicket most of his life, Suk’s claim to fame is
to have taken a hat-trick of wicket-keeping dismissals in a school match, a caught behind and two stumpings of consecutive balls. His first taste of test cricket was watching David Gower, one of his favourite players, scoring 200 not out against India at Edgbaston in 1979. His all-time favourite test cricketer is Sachin Tendulkar who holds the record for the most runs scored in test cricket.
Suk also brings a wealth of professional and commercial experience to The Trust and has been involved in raising funds for numerous charities over many years.
